Stirring and mixing are among the most common tasks in the laboratory. SmartLab Solutions GmbH, a provider of function-integrated system and automation solutions for the laboratory, has therefore equipped a laboratory workbench with function-integrated stirring elements and a touchscreen control system. The individual sample containers can be logged into the system via the user interface and the ID scanner and, for example, stirred for a specified period of time. The user can also be alerted. The bench is easy to clean and offers space for up to 30 containers with a volume of 1 l in the version with 30 stirring positions. Furthermore, it can be equipped with up to 90 stirring positions on a laboratory workbench measuring 1,400 mm x 800 mm. The bench frames, optionally in stainless steel or powder-coated steel, are available in various heights and can be designed to be either mobile or fixed. The surface includes the familiar iHEX sandwich structure with an all-round LED strip for signaling, HPL substructure and glass ceramic top plate.
